Bayelsa born IDYL is winner 'The Voice Nigeria Season II'

The Voice of Nigeria 2017 Season II finally came to an end tonight, 24th September with TeamTimi ‘s Idyl emerging as the winner following a very tense grand finale.

The first round of performances saw TeamYemi (Syemca and Chris Rio ) performing Yemi Alade's "Knack Am" together with their coach.

TeamTimi (Jahtell & Idyl) came up and sang a song by
Timi Dakolo “ Find You There ” which is not yet released, for his friends Eric Arubayi and Belema.

TeamWaje (Wow & J'Dess ) performed Waje's latest single "In The Air" with her.

TeamPato (Yimika & Ebube) performed alongside Patoranking to his fresh single "Love You Die" a song featuring Diamond Platnumz.

However, it was shocking not to see fans favourite Jahtell who happens not to make it to the top 4. Chris Rio, J’Dess & Yimika also did not make it to the next round for their respective teams.

The next set of performances saw Syemca performed Maleek Berry's "The Matter" featuring current Africa's number one art, Wizkid.

Ebube performed Wizkid's  "Come Closer " featuring ameri star Drake.

Idyl then performed Bez song titled "You Suppose Know".

Wow performed Phyno's "Fada Fada" a song featuring his closet pal Olamide.

After the performance, Syemca and Wow had to go (evicted) leaving Idyl and Ebube as the top two finalist.

For the final acts, Idyl performed John Legend 's "This Time" while Ebube performed "I Am Your Angel" by Celine Dion .

Following a performance by last year's talents and Main Records twin sensation, DNA singing their latest song "Queen", Idyl was announced the winner of Voice of Nigeria 2017 Season II
